About Me

Raven, a graduate of St. John’s University (Double major BA in Psychology and History; MS in Elementary Education with a Concentration in Reading), Brooklyn College (MS in Education Leadership), and LEAP (Leaders in Education Apprenticeship Program) NYC.  She is currently pursuing her PhD in Education at Walden University and is very thankful and excited to be teaching at The International School at Sanya.

 

Over the tenure of her 15-year career as an educator in Brooklyn, New York, Raven has been a literacy coach, a teacher mentor, a leader of professional development and curriculum, and classroom management, has taught as an adjunct lecturer at Brooklyn College, and has been a classroom teacher of ELA, math, science, and social studies in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.

 

Raven Roytblat is a complete lover of life.  She enjoys enriching her soul through travel (especially destinations that are near water and have a lot of nature), reading, running, writing, photography, spending time with family and friends, meeting new people, and learning (especially from her amazing twin boys Joshua and Gabriel).  Raven is a complete lover of life.
